The El Nahla Stool reimagines the iconic spinning top, transforming it into a functional and aesthetically pleasing piece of furniture. The stool's unique shape, reminiscent of the spinning top's graceful curves, evokes a sense of childhood wonder and playful memories.

Function:

The El Nahla Stool serves as a versatile seating option, offering adjustable height for optimal comfort. Its playful design invites users to interact with it, recalling the joy of spinning a top and fostering a sense of connection with the past.

Design Process:

El Haddad sought to create a design that resonated with both local and global audiences. Inspired by the vibrant street life of "Ard El Lewa" in Cairo, where children gather to play with spinning tops, he envisioned a piece that captured the essence of this timeless toy.

Product Strength:

The El Nahla Stool's strength lies in its unique and eye-catching design, making it a conversation starter and a versatile addition to any space. Its adjustable height and playful form enhance its functionality, making it suitable for homes, restaurants, and cafes alike.

Manufacture:

The El Nahla Stool is proudly manufactured in collaboration with Cluster and Ard Al-Liwa in Cairo, Egypt. This collaboration exemplifies the project's goal of integrating formal and informal economies, fostering sustainable design practices.
